Can’t I just use the old Mercury “U-Tube” thermometer?

No mercury to clean up if spilled, no shaking down the “U-tube” when the mercury gets stuck up above the indicator, and it is simple to read and to use.  One button to push gives you min. temperature, max. temperature and resets. The 3 ft. long wire with probe allows you to drop into a tank or for field cures. It even includes battery.
