What’s the difference between a Sifter & a Shaker?

The Sifter utilizes rotation in the sieves, tapping action on the sieves, and gravity to separate the particle sizes via the sieves. It is thorough and a very efficient method whereas the Shaker shakes with a tapping action (in some models) and gravity, separating the particles by size.
