When would I use this Gilson Testing Screen instead of Shaker?

Typically, you would need a Gilson Testing Screen for large aggregate.  The trays also hold a larger sample size that you would need for larger aggregate. It is typically only used for coarse aggregate (ie. #4 and larger). It can be used for small aggregates, but the screens may be special order and are more expensive.
