Why would I use this?

This is not a substitute for an ASTM Calibration of your Air Meter because it does not account for the small differing volumes of you pot. But, if you are out in the field and comparing air tests with another entity and there is a wide difference in the results, this 5% Air Void can be used to determine which air pot is out of calibration.
