What are these for?

These liners (2” OD; 1.94”ID) are typically used in a Sampler (or a Hand Drive) and driven into undisturbed soil to extract an in-place sample at various depths. Caps are placed on the ends to preserve “in-place” moisture content. Samples are then tested for Swell, unconfined strength and other tests.
