Description
The Nuclear Density Drill Pin Extractor is designed to quickly and efficiently remove drill pins used during nuclear density gauge testing. Built for rugged field use, this durable extraction tool slips easily over the drill pin—even after it has been driven into compacted soil—providing a secure grip for fast, controlled removal.
By reducing the effort required to extract stubborn drill pins, this tool helps improve productivity while minimizing operator fatigue. Its heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant construction stands up to demanding job site conditions, making it an essential accessory for geotechnical engineers, contractors, DOT inspectors, and construction materials testing professionals.
Whether you’re performing in-place density testing on soil, aggregate base, or asphalt, the Nuclear Density Drill Pin Extractor helps keep your testing process efficient from start to finish.

- There are a lot of drill pin extractors out there, what is so special about yours?
You do not have to put this extractor on before driving your pin into the soil. Notice the slot on one side of the extractor. This allows you to put the extractor on the pin after you drive the pin down (or if you just plain forgot to put it on first).
